My approach
DISCOVERY Phase
Working with the student and parents together, we will better understand your higher education goals. The discovery phase will help to identify individual strengths and areas for improvement for each student/applicant.
ACADEMIC PREP
Beginning as early as the 7th grade, we can provide guidance on course selection, which will allow students to best prepare for a rigorous high school curriculum. We can also provide school recommendations and suggest curriculum.
STRATEGY Phase
Because we work with a small number of families each year, we are able to develop a highly personalized strategy that helps students gain an understanding and thus, an advantage in the admissions process.
Non-Academic PREP
Think of this as extra-curricular activities. What do top-tier schools want to see in an applicant’s extra-curricular activities? What leadership roles do they appreciate? How will exceptional athletes be recruited?
IMPLEMENTATION Phase
Once the individual strategy is agreed upon and set, we will provide periodic guidance, that will put the student in the best possible position to earn acceptance into the college or university of their choice.
APPLICATION PREP
Well before the student’s final year of high school begins, preparation for standardized testing, selection of the student’s references, interviewing methodology, and essay writing techniques will take place.
